5 clear-cut goals for every believer

Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.
1 Timothy 4:12 (ESV)

Classically, this is one of those verses that encourages young leaders in the church.
And that’s great.
But, it also gives every believer some clear-cut goals to be striving for. Especially those believers who are in a position of leadership with others looking up to their example.
So, let’s look at the five goals:
* Setting an example with the words we use.
* Showing others how to live well by the life we live.
* Displaying the love of Christ within us so that others can see it.
* Trusting in God with all our hearts and leaning on His wisdom.
* Living in such a way that no one could even justly accuse us of impropriety.
I’m going to keep today’s email short, because I think it’s a little more important to reflect on these and pick out a way to apply it to my life today.
