Of course the freedom in this wonderful country of ours is fantastic.
But that’s not freedom from the slavery of sin.
Every human on Earth is subject to that slavery, except…
Those of us who have been set free by the blood of Christ.
Go ahead and celebrate the 250 years of this wonderful nation.
Enjoy the fireworks … and the bbq’s … and the hot dogs … and the red, white, & blue … and baseball.
Enjoy it all.
But don’t forget what true freedom is.
Free from the bondage of sin and eternal death.
