How to leave a legacy of faith

What kind of legacy are you leaving?
As usual, I’m asking this question to myself and sharing the journey with you.
This entire newsletter is much more of a social journal than it is public preaching.
Our faith should never stay hidden with us alone.
Even before the fall of mankind, loneliness existed.
It was not good.
God created us to live in community. To support one another and build one another up.
If we’re going to do that at any level, then we have to share our lives with people.
More than just sharing our lives, we should be multiplying spiritually.
In chapter two of 2 Timothy, Paul tells him entrust what he’s heard & seen to faithful men who will teach others also.
In other words, pass on what you’ve learned.
Leave a legacy.
This verse (v.10) is an outline:
Teaching, way of life, purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance.
If we simply focus on glorifying God in these things, and passing them on to successive generations, then we almost automatically leave a legacy of faith.
Not easy, but simple.
If that’s too much to focus on today, pick one and work on it.
You can always add others later.
It’s better to do something now, than nothing later.
