God Remembered Noah
š The first apocalypseĀ
===
But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and domestic animals that were with him in the ark. God caused a wind to blow over the earth and the waters receded.
Genesis 8:1 (NET)

Can you picture it?
Youāve spent over a hundred years building a giant ark to get ready for The Flood.
You didnāt exactly know what a āfloodā was, but it sounded like the end of the world.
So, you obediently build the boat and preach the message of judgement from God.
Then, once you supernaturally gather all the pairs of animals on board, God shuts the door and it begins to rain.
Thatās new.
And it rains nonstop for days ⦠and days ⦠and weeks ⦠and weeks ā¦
Everything youāve ever known outside of this giant, animal-infested boat is gone.
Destroyed.
The world that you knew has ended.
Itās quite literally the Apocalypse.
And you might wonder to yourself in the midst of this horrendous event:
āWhereās God?ā āDoes He still care about me?ā
ā¦
āBut God remembered Noahā¦ā
I donāt know what kind of turmoil or trial youāre facing today.
But Iām confident that (1) itās not as bad as the Flood that Noah faced and (2) God remembers you.
Jesus talked about how the Father takes care of the birds which flutter about and make little plans for their futures. Yet we are sooooooooo much more valuable than birds.
He says that the Father even knows the number of the hairs on our head.
(I donāt even know that!)
Whatever your facing, God remembers you.Ā
Why donāt you go ahead and have a chat with Him?
