God Gives
Far beyond imagination
===
Indeed, he who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, freely give us all things?
Romans 8:32 (NET)

This is actually a kind of companion verse to the one that I’ve been harping on for the past four days.
Of course God is going to take care of His adopted children, after all, He went through all that trouble of giving up His only Son as a sacrifice so that we could become His children.
Meaning, we get to participate in the realities of living as adopted children of the King of the Universe.
Which doesn’t mean Lamborghinis and mansions here on earth …
But it does mean eternal riches far beyond imagination in heaven.
One of the classic descriptions of heaven is in Revelation 21 where it talks about the streets paved with gold and the gates of pearl.
These are, of course, extremely precious and valuable materials here on earth.
And yet, they are simply building materials in heaven.
I want you to just sit back and imagine how incredible heaven must be like if the one of the most valuable metals in our lives today is basically asphalt.

W-O-W!
So, when it comes to asking for financial help from God, I had one spiritual mentor put it this way, “Since God owns the cattle on a thousand hills, why don’t we just ask him to sell one?”
Indeed.
Personally, I can’t wait to get to heaven and see the place Christ is preparing.
In the meantime, there’s still a lot of work for me to do here.
I’d better get back to it.
