Division is only temporary
One Flock with One Shepherd
===
I have other sheep which are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will hear my voice. They will become one flock with one shepherd.
John 10:16 (WEB)

So much of this world divides us.
Just look around at the political tensions today and you can see all kinds of divides.
Arguments and war are a part of this broken earth.
Jesus came to unite us.
United spiritually, even though His followers mistakenly believed He would do something politically.
I can’t blame them for that initial mistake. After all, that’s what all the other saviors had done for Israel: helped them overthrow the oppressive foreign rulers.
What they didn’t know is how much more oppressive sin itself is.
But God knew, and He came to rescue all of us.
I love that.
Jesus, even though His work on earth at that time was primarily with the children of Israel, had a bigger mission to fulfill.
Namely, to provide a way of salvation to all who would trust in Him.
Including those of us outside the ethnicity of Israel.
At the end of the day, there is one human race, and we all trace our roots to one common ancestor.
Some of us have to trace our roots very far back!
Also, what unites us under the banner of the Good Shepherd is stronger than the temporary divisions of this world.
Someday we will all be united with the Father, with the shackles of sin and death cast away forever.
