Acceptable in God’s Sight
A prayer for you
===
May my words and my thoughts be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my sheltering rock and my redeemer
Psalm 19:14 (NET)
===
So many parts of the Psalms are written prayers to God.
I like that about the book, it gives me something simple to pray.
Often I worry about my prayers, am I asking for too much? Too little? Am I missing something that God wants me to catch?
All kinds of questions can be associated with the prayers we pray.
But the prayers of Scripture can be trusted because God wrote them.
Thus, if I take some time to make this verse my prayer for today, I know that I am praying in line with Scripture. Because of course I am, I’m literally praying Scripture.
True for this verse, and many others in the Psalms.
Instead of talking more about prayer, why don’t you just take the next 30 seconds and pray in agreement with Scripture?
You can pick this verse or another verse and then pray.
…
May you be blessed today.
